Dog Birthday Party in Murrieta: What a Private Celebration Actually Looks Like

Your Dog's Birthday Deserves More Than a Treat Toss

Your dog turns one. Or five. Or ten.

You've been thinking about it for weeks. Maybe you saw a cake on Instagram. Maybe you thought, β€œI really should do something for them.” Maybe you already feel a little silly about how much you care.

Don't. You're not alone. There's a reason β€œdog birthday party Murrieta” is a thing people Google at 10pm.

Your dog has given you another year. The zoomies, the welcome-home dances, the warm weight against your leg while you're trying to work. One day a year to hand that back to them isn't too much. It might actually be the easiest gift you'll ever give.

Here's what that looks like at Pooch Kingdom.

The Whole Park. Just for Them.

A birthday party at Pooch Kingdom is a private session. That's the part most people don't realise.

5,000 square feet. Fully fenced. No other dogs. No one trying to crash the party. Just your dog, your people, and all the space in the world.

They get to run the way they want. Sniff every corner at their own pace. Splash in the wading pool if it's warm. Hide under the shade if it's not. The whole thing is theirs, and for once, nobody is telling them to calm down.

If your dog is reactive or shy, this matters even more. Most dog birthdays you see online are chaos. A backyard full of dogs, a cake, a lot of photos nobody's really in. That's not a party for a dog who doesn't love crowds. This is.

The Bakery Bit

Every birthday at Pooch Kingdom comes with something from our on-site dog bakery. Either a handmade cupcake or a full custom cake, depending on the package you choose.

Not store-bought. Not shelf-stable. Made fresh, made to order, made with ingredients that are actually safe and actually nice for your dog.

April's cakes were soft Easter pastels. May's are in the works. Every month looks a little different, because we only take a few cake orders at a time. It keeps them special, and it means every one gets the attention it deserves.

You can request flavours. You can ask for your dog's name on the cake. You can tell me what they love and let me run with it. That's the fun part.

Just a heads up: cake slots fill up fast. If you want one for a specific date, message us as early as you can.

Two Ways to Celebrate

We offer two birthday packages, depending on how big you want the day to feel.

The Birthday Add-On: $25

Add this to any private park session if you want the day to feel a little extra without going all in.

Includes:

  • A birthday backdrop, set up and photo-ready

  • A handmade cupcake from our dog bakery, just for the birthday dog

  • Birthday props, the hats, the bandanas, the fun little extras

This is on top of your standard session booking. Park session is $30 for one dog, plus $10 for each extra dog. So a birthday visit with the $25 add-on starts at $55 total for one dog.

Perfect if it's just your family celebrating, or you want something sweet and simple without the full production.

The Luxury Birthday Experience: $250

This is the full one. Park entry included, up to 8 dogs total on the guest list, the whole setup done for you. You show up, they celebrate, we handle the rest.

Includes:

  • Private park access (entry included in the price, no extra session fee)

  • Up to 8 dogs total (the birthday pup plus their guest list)

  • A custom birthday cake made fresh for the occasion

  • Full setup and clean up so you're not lifting a finger

  • A personalised bubble machine (yes, really)

  • A splash pad for the pups who love water

  • All the birthday props, backdrop, hats, themed setup

  • Party favours for the guests to take home

  • A birthday toy for the special pup

Basically: you walk in, you hit record on your phone, and you don't stop smiling.

This is the package for the dogs who deserve a real party. The ones who've earned it. The ones turning 10, the ones finishing treatment, the ones who just feel like family.

What About Cakes On Their Own?

If you're doing the $25 add-on and want to upgrade the cupcake to a full custom cake, just ask. Cake pricing depends on size and design, and I'll always talk you through options before you commit.

Cake slots are limited each month, so the earlier you book, the better. April's were soft Easter pastels. May's are in the works. Every month looks a little different because we only take a few cake orders at a time; it keeps them special, and it means every cake gets the attention it deserves.

You can request flavours. You can ask for your dog's name on it. You can tell me what they love and let me run with it. That's the fun part.

Pricing Summary

  • Private park session: $30 for one dog, +$10 per extra dog

  • Birthday add-on: $25 (backdrop, cupcake, props)

  • Luxury package: $250 (park entry, up to 8 dogs, custom cake, full setup and clean up, bubble machine, splash pad, props, favours, birthday toy)

Birthdays are not the time to be cheap, and they're also not the time to be taken advantage of. I want you to leave feeling like it was worth every penny and more.

Why Private Matters on Their Birthday

Here's the thing about throwing a dog birthday party at a public dog park, or at home with a bunch of other dogs.

Your dog doesn't get to be the main character. They get to be another dog in the mix. Birthday dogs get overwhelmed, other dogs eat the cake, someone always ends up stressed.

At Pooch Kingdom, the day is completely theirs. They set the pace. If they want to sit on the grass and chew a stick for twenty minutes, that's fine. If they want to tear around like a maniac, also fine. Nobody is rushing them. Nobody is making them share.

And if you've got a dog who doesn't do well at dog parks, this might be the first birthday they've actually enjoyed. That's a big deal.

How to Book

  1. Message us with the date you're thinking of. Earlier is better, especially if you want a custom cake.

  2. We'll confirm availability for both the park session and the cake slot.

  3. Tell us about your dog. Flavour preferences, any allergies, favourite treats, anything that would make the cake feel like theirs.

  4. Book the session, confirm the cake, and show up ready to celebrate.

That's it. No forms, no upsells, no complicated packages. Just a plan for your dog's best day.

If you're in Murrieta, Temecula, Menifee, or anywhere nearby, we'd love to be the place where your dog turns another year older. Nobody remembers the birthdays we almost threw. They remember the ones they actually showed up for.

Your dog is worth showing up for.
