Why a Private Park Can Feel Different
Busy dog parks can be a lot for reactive, nervous, anxious or shy dogs: unfamiliar dogs, sudden greetings and constant noise. At Pooch Kingdom, those pressures are gone for the length of your booking.
The whole park is yours. We're by appointment only, and one booking has the park at a time.
No other dogs. Only the dogs you bring from your own household.
No uninvited hellos. Kerry won't approach your dog unless you tell her it's okay.
Their pace, their way. Sniff, explore, watch, play or stay close to you. All of it counts.
Every dog is different, so we can't promise how yours will feel. What we can offer is a calm, private space without the things that make public parks hard.
How a Private Session Works
Book online. Choose the 60-minute Private Play session that matches your household: 1 dog $30, 2 dogs $40 or 3 dogs $50.
Tell Kerry about your dog. The booking form has an optional box for notes. Share triggers, fears or favorite games, or ask for a no-contact check-in.
Arrive at your time. There's free parking. Head to the Treat Trailer, arriving on time or a few minutes early. Running late? Text (408) 707-7250.
Unclip inside the double gate. Once you're through both gates, the leash comes off and the park is theirs.
End on a sweet note. Every visit finishes with a handmade treat from the Pooch Kingdom bakery.

What to Expect on Your First Visit
There's no rush. If your dog needs a minute before going in, take it; Kerry is happy to wait. She'll say hello at the Treat Trailer and show you around, including how the double gate works.
Some dogs sniff the entire fence line. Some do laps. Some stay close and watch. Every one of those is a good first visit. You can stay right beside your dog the whole time, relax nearby, or end early if your dog has had enough, with no judgment.
Inside you'll find a ball pit, a lookout perch for dogs who like to observe, shaded seating, water bowls and toys.

Made for Dogs Who Find Dog Parks Too Much
Kerry created Pooch Kingdom for dogs who are reactive, anxious or easily overwhelmed, including dogs who've had a rough time at other parks. Everything here, from private bookings to the double gate to a hands-off welcome unless you say otherwise, is set up so your dog can take things in at their own speed. More than 230 local dog families have visited so far.
Pooch Kingdom is a private play space, not a training or behavior service.

Will other dogs be there?
No. Your session is private, with no overlapping bookings.
Can I bring more than one dog?
Yes, if they're from the same household. Private Play is $30 for 1 dog, $40 for 2 dogs and $50 for 3 dogs.
My dog has never been off leash. Is that okay?
The park is fully fenced with 5 ft fencing and has a double-gated entry, so you can take things slowly. You know your dog best, and you're responsible for deciding whether the space is right for them.
What if my dog doesn't want to play?
That's completely normal. Sniffing, watching and exploring still make a great visit.
Can I stay with my dog?
Absolutely, for the whole session if you like.
Do I need vaccination paperwork?
No paperwork, but all dogs must be fully vaccinated. You confirm this in our terms when you book.
What should I bring?
Your dog on a leash with a flat collar or harness, and your phone for photos. We have the water, shade and toys covered.
