From Parking to Goodbye
Here is exactly what happens — no surprises, no unknowns.

Arrival
You Pull Up — and the Park is Ready
Free parking is right inside the gates. Just pull up to the treat trailer When you arrive, the park is already set up, clean, and waiting for you. There are no other dogs in sight and no chaos to navigate — just a calm, welcoming space. Kerry will be at the Treat Trailer to welcome you and will let your dog set the pace from the very first moment.
For anxious dogs: take a moment in the car park before you go in. Let your dog sniff the air and take in the smells. There is no rush — Kerry will wait for you.

Welcome
Kerry is There to Meet You
Kerry welcomes every visitor personally at the Treat Trailer. She will greet you warmly, but she will not approach your dog unless you let her know it is okay. Your dog is always in control of that first interaction. Kerry will give you a quick walkthrough of the space, how the double gate works, and where you can sit or wander during the session.

You enter through two gates — the outer closes fully before the inner opens.

Off the Leash
Into Their Kingdom
Once safely inside the inner gate, the leash comes off and 5,000 square feet of private park is entirely theirs. No other dogs and no strangers, so they can simply get on with being a dog. Some dogs start with a slow sniff along the fence line, while others head straight into a zoomie lap. Every dog experiences the space differently. They can take their time and choose how they spend their visit.

The Enrichment Zones Are All Theirs
When they are ready, dogs discover the enrichment features in their own way. Every feature is designed for a different kind of pup.

Treat Time
Gourmet Treat Time
At the end of every session, Kerry brings out a handcrafted gourmet doggy cupcake made with all-natural ingredients. It ends the visit on a happy note, and most dogs soon work out that Pooch Kingdom means a lovely handmade treat.

Until Next Time
Kerry Says Goodbye
At the end of the session, Kerry says goodbye to you and your pup and often shares a few little wins she noticed along the way. Before you leave, you are welcome to browse handcrafted treats to take home. Most dogs go home tired, calm, and happy — the good kind of exhausted that comes from stress-free play.
For Reactive Dogs
Your Dog is in the Right Place
If your dog is reactive, anxious, easily overwhelmed or has had bad experiences at other dog parks — this is exactly why Pooch Kingdom exists. Learn more about our private park for reactive dogs.
Your dog can explore at their own pace. Some dogs jump straight into play, while others prefer to spend their visit sniffing and taking everything in. There are no other dogs and nobody approaching uninvited, just space and quiet.
They sniff every inch of the fence line
This is decompression — they are gathering information about the space. It is healthy and positive. Let them sniff.
They zoom around like crazy
That's pure relief. This is what dogs do when pressure is lifted and they feel safe.
They are slow and cautious at first
Completely normal for anxious dogs. There is no rush and nothing they need to do. The whole session is theirs.
They keep checking in with you
A sign of trust and healthy attachment. You are their safe base and it is lovely to watch.

I know this first step can feel big
If you have a reactive or anxious dog, trying somewhere new can feel nerve-wracking. You may have already had bad experiences in places that were meant to feel safe.
I built Pooch Kingdom because dogs like ours need something different. That is why every visit is private, why the park has double gates, and why I personally welcome each guest while letting your dog decide how they want that first interaction to go.

Yes, guaranteed. Your session is completely private. No other dogs, no overlapping bookings, and no crowded dog park stress. The space is cleaned and reset between every visit so when you arrive, it is just you and your dog.
That's completely normal, especially on a first visit. Some dogs spend their whole first session sniffing, watching, and taking everything in. That still counts as a great visit. There's no pressure for your dog to do anything except feel safe.
Absolutely. You're welcome to stay right beside your dog for the whole session or relax as they settle in. There's no right or wrong way to do it.
Yes. This is one of the biggest reasons people book Pooch Kingdom. The park is fully fenced and has a double gate system, so you can take everything slowly and let your dog adjust at their own pace.
That's okay too. Some dogs need a couple of visits before they fully relax. You can end the session early if needed and there's no judgement. Kerry will always help you work out what might make the next visit easier.
